Aeroflex - Mesh construction provides excellent ventilation for your back.

In VAUDE backpacks with the "Aeroflex Carrying System", a fine mesh is stretched over a peripheral frame made of ultralight, curved spring steel wire. The rucksack thus does not rest against the back and at the same time provides space and sufficient packing stability. The generous ventilation space guarantees ideal ventilation on both sides.

Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish.

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.

These ergonomic shoulder straps ensure optimum freedom of movement and extra comfort for your next mountain, trekking or hiking tour. Ergoshape shoulder straps are designed to be wider where they rest on your shoulders and narrower at the front and under your arms. Ergoshape shoulder straps are specifically adapted to the different needs of women and men.

Recycled PET: high quality polyester made from recycled PET bottles.

Collect, clean, granulate and spin into high quality polyester yarn – that’s what’s involved in the recycling of PET bottles. In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.

Climate-neutral product. The emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping are analyzed and systematically reduced. Emissions that are currently unavoidable are fully offset through myclimate.

Mass Balance Recycling – chemical recycling process. Recycled polyamide that makes use of a certified mass balance process in which pyrolysis oil is extracted from used tires and fed into a conventional polyamide production process. This chemical recycling methods conserves fossil raw resources. Another advantage: compared to conventional polyamide production, 60% less CO2 emissions are produced*. The polyamide obtained in this eco-friendly process has just the same properties as conventional polyamide made from crude oil.
