Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish.
This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
PET Recycling
Recycled PET: high quality polyester made from recycled PET bottles.
Collect, clean, granulate and spin into high quality polyester yarn – that’s what’s involved in the recycling of PET bottles. In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.

This compact, environmentally-friendly backpack has softly padded, anatomic Easy Fit shoulder straps that are carried crossed and fixed with Velcro – perfect for children’s hands! In addition, there’s an outside pocket, reflective print elements and a front zip pocket for their most important essentials. Its compact size makes the Minnie 5 the ideal companion for very young adventurers – whether they’re on their way to kindergarten or ready to head out on their first mountain tour. This backpack is made of recycled material and is produced with Eco Finish, an environmentally friendly water-repellent material without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials.
