Eco Finish
Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish.
This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
PET Recycling
Recycled PET: high quality polyester made from recycled PET bottles.
Collect, clean, granulate and spin into high quality polyester yarn – that’s what’s involved in the recycling of PET bottles. In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.

Climate-neutral product. The emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping are analyzed and systematically reduced. Emissions that are currently unavoidable are fully offset through myclimate.
PA Recycling
PA RECYCLING – functional polyamide from resource-efficient production.
Recycled polyamide obtained from used items such as fishing nets or carpets. Rather than disposing of surplus materials or residuals from textile production, we collect, process and reuse them in our production facilities. Valuable resources are put to maximal use so we need as little new raw materials as possible, protecting our climate and saving CO2.

VAUDE CITYCROSS 6

Care for a little bit more? This crossbody bag with a volume of 6 L easily tucks away everything needed for everyday life; for example, keys, smartphone and even a small water bottle. We outfitted the CityCross 6 with a key ring to keep your keys safely inside the bag.

 

Another smart feature is an additional zip compartment that opens facing your body, making it extremely difficult for pickpockets to gain access. With its practical volume expansion, the crossbody bag welcomes larger loads and, thanks to the compression straps, adapts to smaller loads as well.

 

Also handy: It’s got a messenger strap for heavier loads. This is a removable waist belt that provides additional support to keep the crossbody bag securely in place. The shoulder strap has a flexible, soft shoulder pad. It’ll keep the straps from digging in, even when you’ve got a heavier load at times. The bag material is recycled and finished with Eco Finish, an eco-friendly, water repellent treatment made without fluorocarbons (PFC) and the main zip is also waterproof — so let it rain!

 

For the planet:

  • Made from recycled materials and recycled PET plastic bottles. The bottles are collected, cleaned, melted down and processed into high-quality yarn.
  • Made with eco-friendly, water-repellent Eco Finish and is manufactured without the use of environmentally-harmful fluorocarbons (PFC).
  • This product is climate neutral. We’ve analyzed and reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit organization.
