The spacious main compartment of the VAUDE Asymmetric 42+8 can be accessed from the top and front – no more rummaging around for your stuff. The stretchy front compartment has enough space for the things you need right at hand when you’re on the go. And you can even dry your wet clothing here too thanks to its optimized ventilation.
You can access your water bottle, camera or a protein bar in the side stretch pockets without having to take off the pack. Helmet, ice axe and trekking poles will find their place on the daisy chain or the extra gear loop. There are two compression straps on each side of the pack, plus another under the lid with an integrated spare buckle in case one of the buckles breaks along the way. You can increase the volume by up to 8L with the height-adjustable lid with an inner compartment.

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
Recycled PET
High quality polyester made from recycled PET bottles
Collect, clean, granulate and spin into high quality polyester yarn – that’s what’s involved in the recycling of PET bottles. In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.

Climate-neutral product. The emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping are analyzed and systematically reduced. Emissions that are currently unavoidable are fully offset through myclimate.
Tergolight Comfort Space Suspension System
A recess at the lower back relieves the sacroiliac joint and eliminates back pain.
